Cylist hurt in Bedford crash

A 22-year-old cyclist is in hospital following a serious crash in Bedford yesterday.

A Mitsubishi station wagon, being driven by a 38-year-old woman collided with the male cyclist at the intersection of Drummond Street and Beaufort Street in Bedford about 5.30pm.

The 22-year-old was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.

He sustained serious injuries but they are not considered life threatening.

Police are asking anyone who saw the Mitsubishi or the cyclist before the crash, or witnessed the crash, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
