A female tow truck driver was seriously injured after she was hit by a passing truck in Kenwick.
It is understood the woman, who is in her mid 40s, was loading a vehicle on to her tow truck when she was struck.
The incident occurred about 1.30pm today.
She has been taken to Royal Perth Hospital and was in a critical condition.
Sgt John Smith, from major crash, urged drivers to slow down and take care on the roads during the festive season.
“Get to their destinations, get there in one piece,” he said.
“If takes another five or so minutes to get to your location, well so be it. Just take care. If you do someone on the side of the road, just bear in mind that they could step out.”
