JLaw 'butt' of the joke

It's no secret Jennifer Lawrence has no filter when it comes to telling candid stories about her life.

But the Hunger Games actress' latest admission is one of her most outrageous yet.

Lawrence, who recently revealed she would be taking a short break from acting to focus on her personal life, told US talk show host Conan O'Brien if she was not in show business, she would take up a career as a maid so she could "snoop" on other people's things.

The Oscar winner then recounted a story of her own maid coming across a collection of sex toys.

"This is actually really funny. Somebody as a joke bought me a bunch of butt plugs. It's a long story," Lawrence said.

"I had a copious amount of butt plugs. Tons of butt plugs. All different kinds of colours and the maid was coming so I was like, 'Well I'll just shove this under the bed so she doesn't see all these butt plugs.' She might not know they are for a joke."

But Lawrence's trick of hiding the items did not work.

"Then I came back and all of them were brought out of the bed and were in this beautiful display on my bedside table," she added.

"I think she knew what she was doing. They were under the bed. I wanted to leave a note like, 'not mine' or 'bought as joke.'"
