More than 1kg of drugs, seven firearms and four vehicles have been seized during a huge police raid on a Ridgewood home.

Police have charged a 31-year-old man after the haul was seized yesterday morning as part of a police operation targeting burglary, drug dealing and vehicle theft.

During a search warrant on the Corinda Way home, police and the Tactical Response Group seized 800g of a substance believed to be methylamphetamine. Substances believed to be heroin, MDMA, Dexamphetamine, cannabis and 1.209kg of a substance believed to be MSM were also taken off the property.

Police also found items associated with the sale or supply of drugs and seven firearms, including two sub machine guns, a double, barrel shotgun and two pistols. More than 1100 rounds of ammunition were also found.

A Hummer, HSV Clubsport, Harley Davidson motorbike and a KTM trail bike were also seized and detectives from the proceeds of crime squad are investigating assets which could be frozen.

Police are also investigating after six motorcycles were found, including three which were confirmed as stolen.

The 31-year-old man has been charged with five counts of possessing a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply, two counts of failing to ensure safe-keeping of firearms and ammunition, two counts of possessing stolen or unlawfully obtained property and one count each of possessing unlicensed ammunition, a smoking utentil and firearms without a licence.

He is scheduled to appear in Joondalup Magistrate's Court today.
