Fresh from the Perth Fashion Festival runway, Nicole Trunfio will jet to New York for a session with renowned photographer and fellow WA expatriate Russell James.
The leggy supermodel and face of this year's festival heads to the Big Apple to pose for the official campaign for her new jewellery label Eight and a Half.
"There's so much going on work-wise," she said. "I'm just trying to figure out what's going to work at the moment but I'm probably going to head to Sydney for a few days and then back to New York and then to Paris."
Trunfio is hitting the high spots professionally and will soon appear in a secret high-profile advertising campaign - believed to be for UGG Australia - which she recently shot at Richard Branson's private property at Lake Como, Italy.
Since arriving in Perth on Sunday, Trunfio has attended a number of events for the festival and took to the catwalk for the Wheels & Dollbaby 25th anniversary show last night in Jimmy Barnes' leather jacket, which was created for the Australian singer in the 1980s.
"I'm super impressed. I love the Museum of WA - it's a beautiful venue and everyone's really stepping their game up," she said of the festival.
She's also been representing WA labels - nabbing a dress straight off the runway from Lydia Tsvetnenko and Lara Kovacevich's House of Zhivago after their show on Monday night.
But it hasn't been all play in Perth for Trunfio who has been rising early to record music at the WA Academy of Performing Arts. Trunfio is working on her first EP and recently performed with her band during New York Fashion Week at the iconic Milk Studios.
"It's crazy - it's a different side to me that no one's seen before," she said.
Before she flies overseas again, Trunfio will head to her parents' home in Australind tonight ahead of travelling further south for her sister Lou's wedding on Sunday.
