Northampton man pleads not guilty over fatal crash

A Northampton man has pleaded not guilty to causing the death of another driver in a head-on vehicle collision at Howatharra last year.

Leigh Donald Nairn, 31, has been charged with occasioning death by driving under the influence of drugs.

A 65-year-old Scarborough man died in the fatal crash on North West Coastal Highway on August 17, 2013.

The matter has been committed to the District Court at Geraldton for a trial listings hearing on October 7.
