Saturday May 16

Grain versus Grape Dinner at Holgate Brewhouse. 7pm to late. $120. Holgate Brewhouse and Curly Flat Winery battle it out in food matching battle.

Sunday May 17

Feral Please III at Horn Please. 7pm to late. $80. Indian street food and curries matched with Feral’s beers.

Monday May 18

You Beer The Judge at The Mint Bar. 12pm to late. Free. Matilda Bay, Stone & Wood and Two Birds beers complemented by tacos.

Beer Cocktail Degustation at The 1806. 7.30pm to 9.30pm. $50. Breaking through the taboo of mixing beer with anything but a cold glass.

Tuesday May 19

Tinnes and Pinnies at The Peacock Inn. 12pm to late. Free. Rare Mountain Goat seasonal ales around nine pinball machines.

Kaiju Beer British and Bowie at Gill’s Diner. 6.30pm to 10.30pm. $99. Think beef wellington with Kaiju’s Double India Pale Ale, accompanied by David Bowie’s Diamond Dogs.

Wednesday May 20

Brewing Up A Banquet at Chin Chin. 2pm-5pm. $98. A banquet of the finest South-East Asian dishes especially crafted to complement five Quiet Deeds brews.

Brewers and Chewers at Local Taphouse. 6.30pm to 10.30pm. $95. Speed-dating session with brewers from Rodenbach (Belgium), Modus Operandi (NSW), Victory (US), Jester King (US), BrewCult (Victoria), Nomad (NSW) and Beavertown (UK).

Thursday May 21

Lunchtime Brew Talk Series at Young and Jackson’s. 12pm to 2pm. Enjoy a sample and chat to the people who make it.

AIBA Awards at Docklands. 6pm to late. The night of nights for the Australian brewing industry.

Friday May 22

Hair Of The Dog Breakfast at Beer DeLuxe City. 9.30am to 12pm. $80. Soothe any possible hangover from the awards with a thick stout.

Great Australasian Beer Spectapular at Melbourne Exhibition Building. 12pm to 5pm. $35. Sample unique beer from around 120 breweries.

Saturday May 23

Beer 101 With Costa at Clifton Hill Brewpub. 3pm to 5pm. $25. La Sirene’s champion brew master Costa Nikias will take you through his top drops.

Pint Of Origin – Europe at Forester’s Beer Hall. 12pm to late. Free. Some of the world’s most prolific breweries assemble in one place with a 4am licence.

Sunday May 24

Great Australasian Beer Spectapular at Mebourne Exhibition Building. 12pm to 5pm. $35. It’s hat day for the final session of the festival.

Matilda Bay Showcase at Pilgrim. 12pm to late. Free. Tap takeover by former WA brewery showcasing its stable of wares.
