Gun, drugs seized in car stop
A search of a car in Mandurah has led to two women being charged with firearm and drug offences.
Police said they stopped a Honda Legend on Anstruther Road in Mandurah about 1.20am today.
They allege that during a search of the car they found two knives, a firearm and about 1.85g of methylamphetamine.
A 34-year-old Greenfields woman has been charged with possessing a prohibited drug.
A 30-year-old Greenfields woman has been charged with possessing an unlicensed firearm.
They are due to appear in Mandurah Magistrate’s Court on March 17.
