The new addition will be second cousin to Prince George and Princess Charlotte and the Queen’s seventh great grandchild.

The baby is yet to be named but an announcement will be made “in due course.”

The Palace report that The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal, Captain Mark Phillips and Mike’s parents, Mr Philip and Mrs Linda Tindall, have been informed and are delighted with the news.

The new baby is the second new addition to the royal family this year after the birth of the Duke ad Duchess of Cambridge’s third child, Prince Louis, on April 23rd.

Congratulations!
