The Traitors fans fed up with 'boring' part of BBC show
Some viewers can't see the point of the missions
What did you miss?
The Traitors viewers have slammed the show’s missions as “boring”, with some even saying they switch off while the contestants tackle them.
The BBC show is a huge hit thanks to its twists and turns, with fans gripped as the Traitors try to murder the Faithful while keeping their own identities a secret. But while viewers are fully invested in the secret chats, roundtables and banishings, many have said the show’s challenges are dull.
Several joked on social media that challenge time was nap time or time to check out other channels.
What, how and why?
The first mission in the third series saw the contestants having to collect gunpowder to blow up a huge statue of a Traitor. Then in the episode on Friday, 3 January they had to collect fuel from pontoons in order to ignite a ring of fire, under the watchful eye of host Claudia Winkleman.
As it started, viewers posted pictures on X showing people falling asleep.
“Me watching the missions,” one said, along with a picture of a sleeping woman. “Cuppa time, the missions are SO boring,” said another viewer.
One wrote on X: “I don’t care about the missions just let me see them turning on each other.” “Whenever the challenges start, that's my time to look at my phone,” said another.
Sharing a GIF of a toddler having a tantrum, another posted: “Everyone during the missions. Give us more bitchy roundtable.”

“Back to the darts,” one said as the mission took place at the same time as the World Darts Championship. Another said: “I'd love to know the stats for those who are now changing channels to the darts temporarily while the teams do the Viking mission.”
“Mission Time = Tweeting Time,” remarked someone else.
“Personally I love the challenges because I was 5 minutes late and I can skip through a huge chunk of the show without missing anything,” commented another viewer.
What else happened on The Traitors?
The latest episode also saw Armani banished from the castle in dramatic scenes in which her fellow Traitor Minah voted her out. Several Faithfuls had pointed the finger at Armani, suggesting that as she and her sister Maia were both contestants, one was likely to be a Traitor.
She looked more and more upset as contestants wrote her name down on their cards during the roundtable. But she was stunned when Minah - her fellow Traitor along with Linda - put her name down.
"I am playing my own game, you know, a girl has got to do what a girl has got to do," Minah said in a piece to camera.
Explaining herself to Linda during a secret meeting in the turret, she said: "She (Armani) was sinking and we could not be associated with it... Do you remember her feedback to us yesterday? You are not doing enough, she said. She was doing too much!"
The Traitors airs on BBC One on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights.
