94-year-old builds pool for neighbourhood kids after his wife dies

94-year-old Keith Davison was married to his wife Evy for 66 years, and she tragically passed away from cancer last year.

He couldn't bear the silence of being at home alone, explaining: "You cry a lot. That's just the way it is, because she's not here."

So the retired judge decided to build a swimming pool in his backyard for the kids in his neighbourhood, inviting them over for a summer-long pool party.

"I'm not sitting by myself looking at the walls," he told KARE 11.

Despite having three kids, Davision has no grandchildren -- but now that he's got the kids from his neighbourhood coming over, it feels as though he's adopted them.

"You kind of adopted our whole neighborhood of kids. These are your grandchildren," one neighbour explained.
