Expert Profile: Dr Adam Fraser

Name: Dr Adam Fraser
Job/Title: Founder at Dr Adam Fraser research and consulting
Describe a day in the life: Early gym session, then trying to get my daughters ready for school (I suck at doing hair and showing no signs of improvement) then either doing research on our various projects or meeting with clients or presenting at conferences. I also spend a lot of time on planes.
What would you be doing, if it wasn’t your current job: Karaoke host
Who would star in your bio: The Rock!
Song stuck in your head right now: "Pink Fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows” -- don’t judge me, I have 3 and 6 year old girls. The pain is real people!
Favourite emoji: Don’t use them.
Best piece of advice you’ve ever been given: Don’t doubt yourself because no one, anywhere in the world knows what the hell they are doing!
Last book you read: “The subtle art of not giving a F%@k" by Mark Manson.
Last person who texted you: As I write this my best mate just texted me a picture of his newest skate board - he is 45. I am best mates with Peter Pan.
You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What colour would you be and why? Magenta - just sounds cool even though I wouldn’t be able to pick out magenta in a line up.
Teach me something I don’t know in the next five minutes. If you are competing against someone in something technical (e.g. tennis or golf) and they are beating you. Just ask them lots of questions about what they are doing and how they do it. Anything that gets them thinking in detail about what they are doing so they have to break it down and pull it apart. After this they will play terrible and you will win. It’s a Sport Psychology trick I learnt.
What are you known for? Probably for writing the book “The Third Space” it went off. I was plenty surprised.
