The Masked Singer's Bushranger 'spoiled' by Wikipedia page

Warning, spoilers ahead!

Just one day after a designer accidentally spoiled who was behind the Kitten’s costume on The Masked Singer, it appears another celebrity’s identity may have been revealed.

In a screenshot taken by fan Torin Chen, it seems Bonnie Anderson’s Wikipedia page was updated on Tuesday night, revealing her as the Bushranger on the popular show.

“Bonnie Anderson is a singer-songwriter and actress from Australia. She’s also The Bushranger,” the page read.

However, it was swiftly deleted, and now there’s no mention of The Masked Singer on her page.

Since the beginning of the show, viewers had guessed Bonnie was perhaps behind the Bushranger’s mask, along with Marcia Hines, and Jessica Mauboy.

Although, looking at Bonnie’s Instagram page she recently posted a photo with her two cats, perhaps meaning that she couldn’t still be in the competition as the whole cast and crew are currently in isolation following a coronavirus shutdown on set.

Yesterday costume designer Tim Chappel accidentally revealed who was behind the Kitten’s mask on the show, just hours before Julia Morris was unmasked.

Speaking on Channel Nine's radio show 2GB 873 on Monday Deborah Knight asked Tim whether he was told who he was designing the elaborate costumes for, when the unfortunate blunder occurred.

“Ah, yeah, yeah it was Julia Morris. And didn’t she make the most amazing pink kitten? She was just so fabulous in that costume,” he said.

“But to answer your question, no, we design all the costumes first and then we get the cast and then we shoehorn the cast into the costumes.”
