The 1975 have announced a string of UK concert dates for their Still… At Their Very Best tour.

Matt Healy and co — who recently found themselves in hot water in Malaysia after Healy kissed bandmate Ross MacDonald during a gig — will hit the road in America this autumn.

They will then arrive in the UK early next year.

They announced the news on Twitter and Instagram in a post that sparked a meltdown among excited fans.

The 1975 UK tour dates

The band — which is comprised of Healy, MacDonald, Adam Hann and George Daniel — will play the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on 9 February.

They are then set to move onto London with two dates at the O2 – 12 and 13 February.

The 1975 will take to the stage at the AO Arena in Manchester on 18 February before moving on to Birmingham for a gig at the Resorts World Arena on 21 February.

What happened in Malaysia?

The stars were in the news this summer after Healy kissed MacDonald.

The 1975 had been booked for the Good Vibes Festival in Kuala Lumpur, but Healy told concert-goers that when they signed up he didn’t know about the government's stance on gay rights and anti-gay laws.

He then kissed MacDonald in protest, leading to their set being cut short and the Malaysian government apparently telling them that they were banned from the country.
