'That's so gross': Passenger's 'nasty' find in plane seat pocket

It’s always a risky move reaching into the back of a plane seat but that doesn’t make this discovery any less off-putting.

One unlucky passenger had just buckled in for a flight when she found a collection of hair extensions tucked away in the back of the seat, with more rogue hairs lying on the ground.

The highly criticised footage was shared to Passenger Shaming, an account that aims to do just that by calling out all grim discoveries and bad flight etiquette.

“That’s so gross, like I can’t or don’t want to think about it. Then on another flight some mother will let her baby put their mouth on that pocket,” one user commented.

“I just puked looking at this,” another wrote.

The bizarre find, while unfortunate, pales in comparison to the human heart that was found onboard a US passenger plane earlier this week.

The Southwest Airlines flight had departed from Seattle and was en-route to Dallas, Texas, when the heart was located.

While the heart was likely needed for a transplant, it is not known exactly what purpose it served.

The pilot and crew made the decision to turn around and ensure the organ was delivered to the hospital as quickly as possible.

“We made the decision to return to Seattle as it was absolutely necessary to deliver the shipment to its destination,” a spokesperson for Southwest Airlines told Q13 Fox News.

Once Flight 3606 landed in Seattle, mechanical difficulties forced the already late passengers to reboard to another plane, causing around five hours in delays.
