The nominees will now be thoroughly vetted by various agencies before they can be appointed to the new 35-member cabinet, the newspaper reported, citing Prommin Lertsuridej, secretary-general to the premier.
Paetongtarn, the youngest daughter of former leader Thaksin Shinawatra, won a parliament vote on Friday by almost two-thirds majority. The 38-year-old was picked for the prime ministerial post just two days after the country’s Constitutional Court dismissed Srettha Thavisin in an ethics violation case.

She’s pledged to review a controversial $14 billion cash handout plan but is likely to focus on bolstering growth through looser fiscal policies as well as tackling the high cost of living and near-record household debt.
