'I just need her to come home': Mum's desperation to find missing daughter
The mother of a teenage girl who's been missing for nearly a week is pleading for her daughter to come home.
Stage Moore was last seen at a bus stop on Poinciana Avenue in Tewantin, on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, last Tuesday.
The 15-year-old's mum, Tracey, said Stage’s brother spoke to her at the bus stop about 4pm and said she would be home "in half an hour".
This was after Stage was believed to have been at home.
Stage had called her mum and told her she would cook dinner. But when Ms Moore arrived her daughter was not home.
The teenager's mother has now made a tearful plea almost one week after the girl went missing.
Ms Moore said Stage had not made any contact with family or friends since she disappeared.
The 15-year-old's social media accounts have been inactive, which her mum said was " very unusual" since "she's on it all the time".
Stage's phone is also switched off and her bank account has not been touched.
“She’s lovely, she’s sweet, she’s caring,” Ms Moore said.
“I just need her to come home. Just please come home, we're worried and I need to know that you're OK."
Ms Moore believes "someone knows something".
"You don't just vanish, someone knows where she is," she said.
Police said they were investigating possible sightings of the teenager, including one at Noosa on Sunday.

At this point foul play is not suspected but police are concerned due to her age.
Noosa Heads Police Senior Sergeant Ben Carroll said "it’s concerning" when "any child goes missing".
“This girl is only 15 years of age [and] very vulnerable,” he said.
"People can certainly take advantage of children in these situations."
Police are still following leads and believe Stage is still in the Noosa area.
