As befitting Strictly Come Dancing's Halloween special on Saturday night, Tess Daly wowed in a stunning black look.

The presenter, 52, slipped on a stylish midi-dress with a luxurious feather hem trim for the "spooky" evening on the hit BBC show.

Posting on Instagram, the TV star could be seen posing in a lift in the high-neck, thigh-split look by brand 16Arlington.

She wrote: "Things are getting spooky on this week's @bbcstrictly."

According to the brand's website, the 'Maika' frock costs £795 and features a "twist-effect" gathered waist.

The mother-of-two finished off her ensemble with a pair of strappy black heels from Saint Laurent and poker straight blonde hair.

Social media users were fans of the dress, leaving more than 14,000 'likes' on the image, with a number of Daly's famous friends also sharing positive feedback.

Pop star Mollie King wrote: "So gorgeous!"

TV presenter Rylan Clark-Neal commented: "Stun."

Meanwhile, Daly's co-host Claudia Winkleman opted for a black diamante playsuit from the brand Self Portrait.

The 49-year-old paired the number, which costs £380, with a pair of black tights and heels.

Her followers were similarly impressed by the chic outfit, leaving over 15,000 'likes' when she shared the look on Instagram.

Both Daly and Winkleman are a fan of the classic shade for their ensembles on the popular series.

For last week's results show, Daly slipped on a satin bandeau body-con dress by the designer Alex Perry.

Earlier this month, the mother-of-two impressed viewers with a tuxedo-inspired frock from Reiss.

Similarly, Winkleman was praised when she slipped on a pair of £12 leggings from River Island with a Zara blazer.
