'Scaring the hell out of me': Terrifying dashcam video captures 'tourist's' dangerous driving

A Victorian man has shared an unnerving video of a motorist swerving across the road and continually veering over the doubles lines and onto the wrong side of the road.

The man posted the video on social media which shows the car in front repeatedly veering across the road, including around corners, during a long drive in regional Victoria.

Sharing the footage on Facebook, he can be heard blasting the driver while he drives about 20 metres behind.

“This f***ing vehicle just keeps crossing over the double lines,” he says, speculating that those inside the car are “clearly tourists”.

“So I’ve got me dashcam going. It’s f***ing scaring the hell out of me.”

Posting the video to Facebook, he wrote: “Victoria has a shocking road toll this year and we must all be aware and look out for each other on our roads!”

The man eventually confronts the driver and passenger in the vehicle after they pull up at a takeaway shop.

“The guy driving that car is all over the road,” he yells at them. The couple, of Asian appearance, are apologetic when confronted. “Okay, very sorry,” the female passenger says.

“PLEASE do not make any racist comments on this post!” the man wrote on Facebook. “This is all about education not vilification.”

There has already been 150 deaths on Victorian roads this calendar year, according to the state’s Transport Accident Commission. That is a shocking 53 per cent increase on the number of road deaths in the entirety of 2018.
