Nick Kyrgios has continued his spat with Novak Djokovic after taking a dig at the World No.1 after the Serbian claimed his critics had entered into a ‘witch-hunt’.

The Aussie maverick hasn’t been afraid to call out Djokovic following the ill-fated Adria Tour that saw multiple tennis players test positive for the coronavirus.

'A FEW CASES TOO MUCH': French Open's bold plan to include fans

Kyrgios has also publicly condemned Alexander Zverev for his behaviour following the Adria Tour after the German was seen partying days after the event, despite the World No.7 claiming he would social-distance.

This prompted some players in the tennis world to hit back at Kyrgios, which started a war-of-words with World No.3 Dominic Thiem and tennis great Boris Becker.

Despite Djokovic slamming some of his critics claiming they have entered into a ‘witch-hunt’, Kyrgios posted a video of him winning a point (during a match he won) against the Serbian.

He posted the video with lyrics from the song ‘Mocking It’: “Talk s**t but I’m doing what I do, you wouldn’t last if I put you in my shoes”.

Kyrgios has won over many fans for calling out fellow tennis professionals with a no-nonsense approach to adhering to safety measures during the pandemic.

Djokovic hits out at critics

World No.1 Djokovic, fellow Serb Viktor Troicki, Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov and Croatian Borna Coric all tested positive for the virus and the event had to be called off.

Djokovic, who tested positive for COVID-19 after the Adria Tour's second leg in Croatia, pulled no punches in slamming his peers and pundits who said he was irresponsible to stage the event amid the pandemic.

"I can only see criticism lately and much of it is malicious," Djokovic told Wednesday's issue of Serbia's daily Sportski Zurnal.

"It's obviously more than just criticism, it's like an agenda and a witch-hunt are on. Someone has to take the fall, a big name.

"I still haven't decided whether I will play in the US Open, the upsurge in registered COVID-19 cases in the United Staes and New York in particular are not playing into the event's hands," added Djokovic who was back in training on Tuesday with Troicki.
