Telstra call issue fixed but some must adjust settings

Telstra has fixed an issue impacting calls on some mobile phones.

Tracking website Downdetector showed customers started experiencing issues at 10pm on Monday.

The telco resolved the problem at 10am on Tuesday.

"Good news! The issue affecting mobile calls is now fixed," Telstra said on Twitter.

"Massive thanks for sticking with us as we sorted it out."

Anyone still experiencing problems has been told to try recalling a number or switching airplane mode on and off again.

The company said triple zero calls were not affected but did not reveal how many customers had issues or further details on the outage.
