Two teenagers have been treated for mild hypothermia after they were swept from an inflatable boat on the Murray River at Albury in NSW.
NSW police officers were called to the river about 6.40pm on Saturday after reports a boy and girl were in the water.
Police were told the 14-year-old boy had been hanging off the back of the inflatable boat with a 14-year-old girl inside when it filled with water.
The pair were swept downstream but managed to cling to a branch in the river near Hodge Island.
A male officer swam to the pair and waited with them until they were picked up by an Albury Volunteer Rescue boat.
The teenagers were treated for mild hypothermia at Albury Base Hospital before being released.
