A teenage rodeo rider has been charged with the alleged murder of missing chef Allecha Suzette Boyd.
The body of the 27-year-old Wagga Wagga-based woman still hasn't been found three months after she disappeared.
With his hands up, Anthony Shane Hagan can be seen surrendering to heavily armed detectives outside a Wagga Wagga house.
The 19-year-old was handcuffed before being taken away and charged with murder.
He is accused of killing the missing woman, who was last seen at Coolamon near Wagga Wagga on August 10.
Last month, siblings made a tearful plea for help to find to their sister, who is also the cousin of AFL player Will Hoskin-Elliott.
"My beautiful big sister please don't let this be true… my heart is hurting so much I can't stop crying… I miss you Leash, I just want you home," her sister Tammara wrote on Facebook.
Police are determined to return Allecha to her family and have vowed to keep searching for her body.
"We believe that there are members of the public that do have information with respect to Allecha's disappearance and the circumstances relating to her death," Wagga Wagga Detective Inspector Darren Cloake said.
Detectives hope Mr Hagan's arrest will encourage people who've been too scared to come forward to now speak up.
Police have not ruled out further arrests.
