A teenage girl is dead after two small aluminium boats collided in Sydney’s south on Friday morning.

Paramedics were called to the Grays Point boat ramp, about 30km south of Sydney’s CBD, about 10.30am following reports a 16-year-old girl was seriously injured in a crash involving two boats.

A NSW Ambulance spokesman said the teenager was pulled from the water before a Toll Ambulance rescue chopper winched in a doctor and critical care paramedic to assist her.

“She was transported by road to St George Hospital in a critical condition,” he said.

NSW Police said she died in hospital.

Two 16-year-old boys were also taken to the hospital for mandatory testing.
