A teen has died after being shot in Sydney’s west.
Police were called to Cabramatta Avenue in Miller on Saturday night about 11pm where they found an 18-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his chest.
Paramedics tried to revive him but unfortunately he couldn’t be saved and died at the scene.
A crime scene has been established as police investigate the death.
Resident Ahmad Elhamoui told The Daily Telegraph he was watching TV with his daughter when he heard a gunshot followed by two people arguing.
“I’ve got young kids over there in my house it’s not really a pretty thing to explain to the kids that somebody got shot in your street,” he told the paper.
Liverpool City Police Area Commander Superintendent Adam Whyte told reporters the incident “was not random, it was targeted”.
He added the victim is yet to be formally identified.
