A Queensland teen stabbed in the chest during a disturbance at a Brisbane hotel room on Australia Day has died in hospital.
The 18-year-old and two 17-year-olds were part of a group of eight people who gained entry to an Albert Street hotel lobby when they followed other guests through the door.
They then entered a room being occupied by a man known to them, and the three teens were stabbed.
The 18-year-old was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with a life-threatening injury, and died on Saturday, while the two younger men have since been released from hospital
Police are investigating the incident.
