This is what astronauts see when they look down at Earth

One small step for man, one HD video for mankind.

Incredible vision has emerged after GoPro cameras were successfully attached to NASA astronauts Terry Virts and Barry Wilmore before they embarked on a walk around the International Space Station.

In the video, the men are attached to a safety line as they bob up and down, floating weightlessly in space as they prepare the station for future docking of commercial spacecrafts.

The result? A rarely seen, spectacular bird's eye view of the curvature of the Earth.
