Teacher, 29, brought two students, 16, to hotel room for sex

A former teacher will spend 12 months in prison after she took two students to hotels and had sex with them.

Christina Sosbe, 29, pleaded guilty to one count of sexual battery back in October this year, while two other counts of sexually battery were dropped in exchange for a guilty plea.

The former teacher was accused of having sex with a former student back in December 2018, when the child was underage, at a hotel in Ohio, the Tribune Chronicle reported.

Local news station WFMJ reported Sosbe had sexual relations with two 16-year-old boys.

Sosbe was a teacher through a program that ran at Choffin Career and Technical Center in Youngstown. Last year the 29-year-old had her teaching licence revoked.

On Monday, Sosbe was handed a one-year sentence by Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge Peter J. Kontos, The Vindicator reported.

She will serve her sentence at the Ohio Reformatory for Women and is classed as a Tier 3 sex offender, meaning for the next 25 years, or the rest of her life, she will have to register her details every 90 days with the local authorities.
