Police have confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of a woman found at a home northeast of Hobart.
Officers went to the Walker Street residence at Sorell about 3.30pm on Wednesday and found the woman's body.
Authorities initially believed the 40-year-old's death could have been suspicious but ruled that out on Thursday afternoon.
The woman's neighbours raised the alarm, concerned they had not seen her for days.
Tasmania Police Detective Inspector Rebecca Davis said the community was close-knit and deeply saddened by the woman's death.
