Target blender recalled over fears blades may cause 'serious lacerations'

A popular blender that has been sold by Target for six years has been recalled over fears the blades could cause serious lacerations.

Target customers have been advised to stop using the blender immediately after it was identified as having a risk of serious injury to consumers.

The department store issued the warning on Facebook after it said a defect was found that could cause the product’s glass jug to separate from the plastic base when the blender is in use, exposing the rotating blades.
