Inside Sydney's 'Sky Mansion' penthouse – yours for $66 million

Sydney's ANZ tower is hiding a little gem on its top three floors – an internationally-awarded residential penthouse that has a current asking price of $66 million.

Known as the 'Sky Mansion', the 2400sqm penthouse has been put on the market by property developer John Boyd and wife Marly.

The apartment boasts a resort-style rooftop pool, private secured garaging and a private express lift and took four years to build.

There are four bedrooms, five marble bathrooms, several vast entertainment spaces as well as walls of glass. The apartment also includes a champagne room, a cigar bar, a louvred winter garden and more than 200 pieces of commissioned furnishings.

Described as "an ambitious work of pure genius", the property was named the world's finest residence at the International Design & Architecture Awards 2017.

The space is more than 10 times the size of the average Australian home and is being marketed internationally.

It's the only residence inside the ANZ building at 167 Castlereagh St and features 360-degree views of Sydney Harbour.

The priciest property purchase for a Sydney residence to date was when James Packer spent $60 million on two levels in the yet-to-be built Crown complex at Barangaroo South.
