A 46-year-old man from Sydney's lower north shore is due to face court accused of using the internet to groom a teenage girl.
NSW detectives began chatting online in November with the Artarmon man, who thought he was speaking with a 14-year-old girl.
Police will allege he talked about sexually explicit acts he wished to perform and sent explicit material.
He was arrested on April 17 and detectives seized a mobile phone, two computers and storage devices from his home.
The man is due to face the Downing Centre Local Court on Friday charged with using a carriage service to groom under 16 years for sex, and using a carriage service to solicit child abuse material.
