A man has been charged over the murder of his partner in Sydney's southwest nearly two months ago.
NSW Police were called to a Glenfield home on the night of September 21 after an unconscious 66-year-old woman was found inside.
Shortly after police attended a single-vehicle collision where a car had crashed into a concrete wall.
The 67-year-old driver was taken to Liverpool Hospital with serious chest and leg injuries.
The woman was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition and died the following day.
Police on Tuesday went to Liverpool Hospital and charged a 67-year-old man with murder.
He was refused bail and will participate in a bedside hearing on Wednesday.
