'Special kind of person': Driver called out for appalling parking job
A Sydney driver has called out another driver for their thoughtless and incredibly close parking job.
An image of the park was shared to Reddit on Wednesday and the user explained they had parked their white car at Dudley Page Reserve in Dover Heights to watch the sunset.
“Me in the white car: had parked there for an hour or so to watch the sun set at Dudley's Point Reserve,” the person wrote on Reddit.
“Came back for my jacket to find this nong's parking job.”
The photo the Reddit user shared, shows the other driver, with the red car, had left no room between the two and it appears the front of the red car is now touching the white car.
“It takes a special kind of person who thinks that parking like this is ok...” the user said on Reddit.
To make things worse, the driver explained they had been boxed in by an Uber Eats driver at the front when he was taking photos.
“Red car should've at least taken yours out to dinner first,” someone remarked on Reddit.
“Luckily my car looks carelessly banged up enough to make someone think twice about parking anywhere near me,” someone else said.
The Roads and Maritime Services advises leaving one metre between other vehicles if parallel parking and there are no marked lines on the road.
