Swans return to Cattery to host Dockers

·2-min read

Fremantle will be aiming to avoid the same fate as West Coast when they travel to GMHBA Stadium to take on Sydney in round 19.

The AFL released its round 19 and round 20 fixtures on Tuesday, with Ballarat and Bellerive each to host a game.

The Western Bulldogs will take on Adelaide at Ballarat's Mars Stadium on Sunday, July 25, while in round 20 North Melbourne hosts Geelong at Blundstone Arena in Tasmania on July 31.

The Swans and GWS will be forced to stay away from NSW for the foreseeable future due to the worsening COVID-19 outbreak.

Sydney demolished the Eagles by 92 points when they were forced to take a home game to GMHBA Stadium in round 16.

The Swans will return there to take on Fremantle on Saturday, July 24.

The Dockers have won just three of their 18 games in Geelong, while Sydney have won four of their past five games there.

As confirmed last week, AFL action will return to the Northern Territory when Gold Coast and Melbourne do battle at TIO Stadium in Darwin on Saturday, July 24.

The grand final rematch between Geelong and Richmond will be at the MCG on Sunday, July 25.

No venue has been set for the Giants' home match against Port Adelaide in round 20.

West Coast will get a rare game at the MCG when they take on Collingwood on August 1.

Fremantle will host the Tigers at Optus Stadium the same day.
