Sussexes team up with Oscar-nominated director for reality show
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have hired an Oscar-nominated director to help them create a Netflix docu-series.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are working with Liz Garbus to create the series, which they have been working on for over a year, according to Page Six.
Liz was seen with the pair last year in September during their trip to New York City with a small camera crew who were hiding their equipment to keep the project a secret.
Harry and Meghan attended a red carpet gala honouring veterans on the USS Intrepid in Manhattan, then a lunch at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey.
Liz was seen with her colleagues hiding camera equipment under coats and bags at one point, with the crew also spotted with the couple in a van on their way to the gala.

The director is openly left-leaning and has been very vocal about abortion rights following the Supreme Court's reversal of Roe v Wade.
The royal family, however, is expected to not discuss things of a political nature, but with Harry and Meghan no longer senior members of the royal family, they have been heard speaking more and more progressive issues such as climate change.
Liz's work has mostly been spent in the documentary world tackling true crime, but she also earned herself an Emmy nomination for her work on The Handmaid's Tale last year.
Harry leaves royal family 'absolutely furious'
It comes after Harry reportedly left the royal family "absolutely furious" with him following the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
The Mirror's royal correspondent Russell Myers appeared on the Today show to speak about the relationship between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the rest of the royal family.
"Harry was giving an interview just a couple of weeks ago when he was at the Invictus Games," Russell said. "It was all, sort of, bizarre language, he was there to protect the Queen and these things are not going down too well.
"If it [their relationship] is to be repaired, then there needs to be a bit more water under the bridge".
Richard and Russell agreed that the pair may be trying to "have their cake and eat it too".
"If Harry’s looking for some, sort of, piecemeal then he was a long way off that," Russell added. "The people I speak to, the Palace every day, who [are] obviously very well connected with the top players, as it were. They are still absolutely furious."
"You can’t go on, you know, international television interview with Oprah Winfrey, complaining about your treatment with the family and then wanting to sit down with them when you’re still giving interviews," he added.
