Suspended Ipswich mayor's case in court

Warren Barnsley

Fraud charges against suspended Ipswich mayor Andrew Antoniolli have been mentioned briefly in a Brisbane court.

The 47-year-old did not appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday on the seven fraud allegations by the Queensland Crime and Corruption Commission.

Lawyers indicated eight witnesses will be called at a three-day hearing for the charges in an Ipswich court, which will be arranged when the matter is next mentioned on June 20.
