Bushfires catastrophe: dozens of homes lost across NSW & VIC
Thousands of firefighters and water bombing aircraft will spring into action this morning when the blanket of darkness is lifted and the extent of overnight damage following this weekend’s devastating bushfires is revealed.
Dozens of homes have been destroyed by an out-of-control blaze near Bega in southeastern New South Wales.
In Victoria, 10 homes have been lost and residents from several towns are sheltering in relief centres as authorities are still battling high winds and summer bushfire conditions.
Remarkably, there have been NO reported deaths.
