She was one of the best-known, most photographed women in the world: A princess, a humanitarian and an influential public figure. But to her two boys, Lady Diana was just mum.
For the first time, William and Harry open up about their late mother in an emotional documentary to air exclusively on Sunday Night in coming weeks.
“She was very informal and really enjoyed the laughter and the fun,” William says.
“She understood that there was a real life outside of palace walls.”
“This is the first time that the two of us have ever spoken about her as a mother,” adds Harry.
"She was our mum. She still is our mum. And of course, as a son I would say this; she was the best mum in the world."
As the 20th anniversary of Diana’s death approaches, William and Harry share treasured memories and never-before-seen photos of their mother.
