Upon returning from her posting in Seven’s US Bureau, Ange moved behind the news desk anchoring bulletins for 7 News, Sunrise and Weekend Sunrise, and co-hosting rolling coverage of the London terror attack. She has also enjoyed hosting Weekend Sunrise and the Morning Show.

Her move into the studio followed a busy seven years as a senior foreign correspondent reporting across the network’s national news programs. Ange travelled extensively covering major news events across the US and around the world.

She has covered several terror attacks during her time as a correspondent including the Boston bombings and Paris tragedies. She won an award from the LA Press Club for her coverage of the San Bernardino Terror Attack.

She stood in the Oval Office when President Obama welcomed Prime Minister Turnbull, and covered two US elections. She was on the campaign trail with the Trump and Clinton camps during one of the most controversial elections in US history.

Ange doesn’t mind a dress up, and covered five Academy Awards shows, Golden Globes, Grammys and Emmys. She’s interviewed some of the world’s biggest stars in movies, music and sport.

She was in Rome when the Vatican picked Pope Francis, and covered the Royal Wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – standing under the balcony of Buckingham Palace when they kissed.

She also spent a month in London covering the 2012 Olympics.

The highlight of Ange’s overseas posting was leading hours of rolling coverage in Chile when 33 trapped miners were rescued.

Ange started her career 20 years ago as a cub reporter on the Gold Coast for Prime Television. After a year in Lismore with Prime, she moved to Seven on the Gold Coast. She spent four years at Seven Brisbane before moving to London where she worked for the BBC and CNN.

Upon her return home she worked in Sydney for 18 months before heading to the US.

When she’s not working you’ll probably find Ange in the kitchen cooking while listening to podcasts or music, with a glass of red in hand.

Her favourite things in no particular order: “My twin sister, my dog, Oscar, and sunny days by the beach. All three together is even better.”
