The former Love Island star was shown video messages from her parents supporting her choice to take on online trolls through dance.
What did you miss?
Strictly Come Dancing's Tasha Ghouri was moved to tears by her parents' pride when she was surprised with video messages on The One Show.
The Love Island star and professional dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec appeared on the sofa to discuss their Couples' Choice dance at the weekend, in which Ghouri chose to speak out about the online abuse she has suffered at the hands of internet trolls because of her disability.
The model, author and podcaster, who was born deaf and uses a cochlear implant, was shown messages from her parents on the show, sharing their love and support for her, which left her welling up and saying: "They always make me cry."
What, how, and why?
Ghouri and Skorjanec danced their Couples' Choice dance on Saturday, 2 November to Pink's What About Us. Before the dance Ghouri opened up in an emotional interview about online abuse she has received relating to her disability.
Appearing on The One Show on Tuesday, 5 November, she told hosts Anita Rani and Alex Scott: "I think for us it was just about telling the story, dancing with our hearts. The last thing we were thinking about was the scores, the judges, the cameras. We thought this is that chance just to tell a really powerful, raw story and we just went for it and to hear those comments really meant the world. Each of them that connected and it meant everything."
She said of speaking out: "I was very nervous, I think 'cause I was sharing such a vulnerable part of myself. My family were in it, and it was such a moment for me to able to say not just my story, but many other people's stories, and just to really make a conversation happen. And it really had such a positive impact, and the reaction's been incredible. But I was so nervous to do it before 'cause I wanted to do so well, I wanted to do it, you know?"

Ghouri was then shown a video of her parents. Her mother said: "Her dance on Saturday was just absolutely amazing. I'm kind of lost for words. It was moving, it was powerful and it was so meaningful. And it meant so much to you. And so much to us. I'm probably gonna start crying again. Well done. We love you so much."
And her father added: "Tash, I was already full of pride the second you were born, and you keep piling it on. The overflow is now tears. With or without disabilities, people can often feel in a dark place, and your performance resonated with so many people for different reasons. Your passion for helping others is admirable. You have a very, very special heart. Never change, Darling. We all love you, Princess and Aljaz, thanks for everything."

Mackenzie Crook, star of The Office, Pirates of The Caribbean and The Detectorists was on the show to discuss his new book.
He revealed who he would want to be if he took part in Strictly Icons Week. Crook said: "I mean, one of my musical heroes was Kurt Cobain, but can you imagine Kurt Cobain doing the Charleston?!
Crook's new book, which he has illustrated himself, is an homage to the late musician Nick Drake and is called If Nick Drake Came to My House. Crook said: "He died before his records started becoming popular. And now so many artists and musicians cite him as an influence. And so I've I've written this strange little picture book about Nick Drake. It's sort of a tribute to him and a letter to him."
