Strictly's Pete Wicks says low score was 'fair' after dance struggle
The star said his latest performance was the 'least sexy' he has ever felt
What did you miss?
Pete Wicks has admitted his latest Strictly performance was the "least sexy" he's ever felt and that he deserved his low score.
The Towie star dazzled viewers in the skin-tight pink Latex trousers he wore for his Cha Cha Cha to I’m Too Sexy during Blackpool Week. But the judges picked up on some faults and he only scored 27 out of 40, with just four out of 10 from Craig Revel Horwood.
Wicks has now said he thinks the mark was "probably fair", confessing that he struggled with the dance all week and didn't feel that comfortable on the night because everything was "cramped".
What, how and why?
The TV star was quizzed about his score on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two, when host Janette Manrara brought up the low mark from Revel Horwood.
But he replied: "I think that is probably fair. Listen, they know what they are talking about and I struggle with the Latin ones, I really do. And I struggled with that dance for the entire week so it's probably fair."
Manrara noted that Wicks didn't smile as much as usual during the last show, and he said: "I am not a smiler at the best of times. But I was struggling with the smiling there just because everything was so cramped!"
"It's ironic that the song was I'm Too Sexy and that's the least sexy I have ever felt!" he said.

"Saturday night was tight," joked the star. As Manrara asked if he had been comfortable, he replied: "No, not really."
"It looked like I was smuggling a pink ferret so there was a lot going on," he said.
Discussing how he got his pink trousers off, he quipped: "I don't think Blackpool has got any Vaseline left!"
What else did Pete Wicks say?
Wicks also said he had been sure that he and his pro partner Jowita Przystał were going to end up in the dance-off. "100 per cent," he said. "We were obviously bottom of the leaderboard by some way and I just thought my luck must have run out now, surely.
"But again, thankfully, whoever is voting for me, thank you."
Opera star Wynne Evans and his pro partner Katya Jones were eliminated from the show at the weekend, after facing Montell Douglas and her professional partner Johannes Radebe in the dance-off.
Strictly: It Takes Two airs on BBC Two at 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.
