Strictly's Pete thought pro was joking about 'broken ankle technique'
Jowita Przystał introduced him to it ahead of Week 10.
What did you miss?
Strictly Come Dancing favourite Pete Wicks initially thought his professional partner Jowita Przystał was kidding when she introduced him to the 'broken ankle technique'.
During Saturday, 23 November's live show on BBC One, the pair stylishly opened Week 10 with a Tango to Phil Collins' Easy Lover, and whilst speaking to co-presenter Claudia Winkleman, Polish dancer Przystał opened up about her strangely-named creation for the ballroom.
Understandably, Wicks admitted he questioned its seriousness.
What, how and why?
"Tell me about the broken ankle technique, I'd never heard of that before," said Winkleman, with Przystał then acting out its physical manifestation.
"Um, so this is actually a prominent position," she began, as her celebrity partner sidenoted: "I thought she was winding me up when she told me this!"

Przystał continued: "No no, we need to break the ankle so it's literally inside ankle down to the floor. Broken ankle. It's not actually broken. It works, it works!"
Referring to the evening's big group number, Wicks went on to quip: "After the Samba-thon I might actually have a broken ankle..."
What else happened on Strictly Come Dancing?
Meanwhile, Wicks and Przystał were awarded a score of 29 from the judges Shirley Ballas, Anton du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse.
Ballas had earlier commended the reality TV personality on his "focussed and fierce" posture.
But will the voting public save Wicks and Przystał's skin again?
Strictly Come Dancing's results show airs Sunday, 24 November on BBC One.
