Strictly fans celebrate Miranda reunion in ballroom audience
Sarah Hadland, Miranda Hart and Patricia Hodge are still close friends.
What did you miss?
Strictly Come Dancing's Sarah Hadland certainly felt the love from her Miranda co-stars on Saturday, 30 November.
Channelling the renowned Wicked Witch of the West spin-off Wicked for Musicals Week, which is now a two-part cinematic spectacle featuring Ariana Grande as Glinda, Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard of Oz, Hadland and her professional partner Vito Coppola whipped up a storm with their Charleston.
Watching on in the live studio audience were none other than Miranda Hart and Patricia Hodge, whom Hadland worked with on the aforementioned BBC sitcom between 2009 and 2015 where they played characters Miranda, Penny and Stevie.
What, how and why?
Speaking to Hadland in the aftermath of her Musicals Week performance, co-presenter Claudia Winkleman said: "Your Miranda family are here. Miranda Hart and Patricia Hodge! They are so proud of you..."
Hadland could be heard screaming and the ballroom crowd applauding as the cameras switched over to Hart and Hodge — the former sending two thumbs-up straight down the lens.

This isn't the first time Hart has made a Strictly cameo this series, either, as four weeks ago the 51-year-old stopped by one of Hadland and Coppola's rehearsal sessions.
"I'm here at Sarah and Vito's training room, so like all great choreographers I'm wearing a black turtleneck and carrying a small dog with me, so here I am," she quipped.
"It's an amazing experience. I feel really lucky, I feel like I've won a prize!"
What was the reaction on social media?
Spotting this surprise Miranda reunion on screen, one Strictly viewer tweeted: "That was amazing. Great to see Miranda and Patricia Hodge in audience", whilst a second X user wrote: "Miranda AND Patricia there to support Sarah. We've won."
