Strictly star Chris McCausland's 'biggest victory' has nothing to do with dancing
It concerns Merseyside football rivalries
What did you miss?
Strictly Come Dancing star Chris McCausland revealed the "biggest victory" from across his ballroom journey whilst speaking to It Takes Two host Janette Manrara on Friday, 13 December.
For the last of this year's episodes of the BBC Two spin-off programme, the comedian and his dance partner Dianne Buswell took a seat on the sofa to reflect on their unforgettable experience together.
Having watched a VT full of lovely messages from his mates, McCausland quipped how there's one accomplishment that stands above all others: getting Everton FC supporters to enjoy the Liverpool FC pre-match anthem You'll Never Walk Alone.
What, how and why?
Manrara said to McCausland after the VT played: "Chris, I know you're emotional but you've got a 25% chance of lifting that Glitterball trophy tomorrow, how much would it mean to you to win?"
Grinning, the 47-year-old replied: "D'ya know what, the biggest victory here is my mate Neil, who was on [the video] and his son Eddie, who's my godson, are massive Everton fans.
"For them to appreciate You'll Never Walk Alone like they did... [Eddie's mum Ruth] said he was gonna refuse to watch it and he ended up watching it and loved it, and so that's the biggest victory I can ever have if it's making Everton fans like it."

Strictly finalists Chris McCausland and Tasha Ghouri proud to 'challenge expectations'
In the football world, Everton and Liverpool are fierce local rivals, and McCausland and Buswell waltzed to the Gerry and the Pacemakers tune back in October, which is blasted through the Anfield stadium speakers before every home game.
McCausland added on a more serious note: "But listen, it's just madness that we're here. It's been such a ride. It's gonna be emotional tomorrow and yeah, I think whoever wins it's gonna be a party."
What else happened on Strictly: It Takes Two?
Later on, fellow finalists Aljaž Škorjanec and Tasha Ghouri also stopped by the It Takes Two studio.
The Love Islander told co-host Fleur East all about re-dancing the American Smooth of Week 10 for this weekend's three-performance finale, which resulted in this series' first perfect score of 40 from the judging panel.
"If anything [it's] even better [now]. I think we've both kind of said: 'Actually, the way it feels now, there's no pressure this week to worry about the results show or any of that, it's just really about the dancing.' When we both danced it to the music again, we both just smiled."
Strictly Come Dancing's grand final airs Saturday, 14 December on BBC One from 6pm.
