'Stay away from my daughter': Dad in ute filmed chasing young man down road

A protective father has been filmed chasing down a young man on a bike to warn him to stay away from his “stunner” daughter.

A video of the ute tearing it up on a New Zealand country road behind the 21-year-old rider, then abruptly pulling up beside the man’s bike, was shared on social media on Monday.

Kona Kampbell started filming as the enraged dad chased him down a South Island motorway.

“Oh s**t, he’s got a bone to pick with me,” the rider laughs into the camera as the ute approaches from behind, with the driver aggressively honking his horn.

The vehicle narrowly misses the sheep station employee’s bike as it veers off to the side of the road to give the long-haired rider a talking down.

“Stay away from my f***ing daughter!” the enraged farmer screams, before speeding off.

Mr Kampbell told the Daily Mail he was friends with the man’s 23-year-old daughter, whom he described as a “stunner”, and sometimes rode by the house to say hello to her.

“He thinks I’m tryna get with his daughter and he took it next level this time,” the young man said.
