Justice Crew and Taylor Henderson have revealed their new singles are paying homage to the important women in their lives.
The Sydney-based boy band released its new single Rise and Fall on Fridayy, which offers a distinctly different sound to its previous dance-club hits.
"We're all guys, and with our catalogue of songs, we need this, it's important to have a moment for the ladies. It is one for the girls because it's a love song," Justice Crew's Solo Tohi said.
Last year's X Factor runner-up Henderson is certainly no novice to writing heartfelt lyrics, having recently released single Host of Angels, inspired by his younger sister.
"I've actually written two songs for my younger sister. But my other sister is now basically saying 'Where's mine?'" Henderson said with a laugh.
Both Justice Crew and Henderson will be performing their new singles during Telethon.
Henderson said that visiting the kids at Princess Margaret Hospital while in Perth was an "absolute priority".
"Perth is amazing, it's like a big country town in a city," he said. "Everyone's really nice and friendly and I just love it here."
