Sneaky snake spotted hiding in tool shed - but can you see it?

A “sneaky snake” found in a Brisbane tool shed has baffled hundreds who failed to guess where the python was hiding.

In a photograph of a shed shared to Facebook on Friday afternoon, snake catcher Lauren tasked followers to find where the reptile was lurking.

“Can you guess where this sneaky snake is hiding?” the post on the Brisbane Snake Catchers Facebook page teased.

“I’ll give you all hint this time.. it’s a python 😉👌.”

After more than 1000 comments and dozens of incorrect guesses, the reptile expert offered a clue: “The second hint is this..its a yearling Python so this means it’s too big to fit into say a can or around keys.”

But that wasn’t much help to the many left scratching their heads.

Late Friday night Lauren revealed the hide-and-seek expert’s location.

“This carpet python’s nose was poking just over the ledge,” she wrote, circling the area with a black heart.

“As soon as it’s cover was blown it slithered out of its hiding spot to make a quick get away!”

Despite so many incorrect guesses, Lauren said they had reflected many places she and her colleagues have removed snakes from in the past.

“Everyone is still right in a way.. we’ve caught many snakes from all the spots you’ve all mentioned, now you know where to start looking if you ever feel eyes on you,” she added.

The guessing game came after a mystifying photo of a snake in a tree also had many baffled.
