- Here are some quick facts you probably didn't know about spiders. Spiders molt in order to grow, and their skins are often mistaken for dead spiders. Sydney funnel-web spiders are the deadliest in Australia, with their venom regarded by some to be the most toxic in the world.

Under a microscope, it's possible to see that spiders have tiny paws with feet which resemble those of cats and dogs. Globally, spiders kill around seven people a year.
