Sofia Vergara baffled by shocking elimination night on 'AGT': 'I'm going to throw up'
During America's Got Talent's live results show Wednesday night, everyone was completely shocked over the fact that two Golden Buzzer acts, singer Jimmie Herrod and World Taekwondo Demonstration Team, found themselves in danger of elimination.
AGT viewers immediately took to social media to express their bewilderment. One person tweeted: "How can America live with themselves placing #jimmieherrod in the bottom 3?" (@KendrickClarke7)
The shocking results didn't stop there. 10-year-old Peter Rosalita, who also gave a stellar performance Tuesday night, despite a small flub in the beginning, was eliminated from the competition, which also threw Twitter into a fit. However, the competition really one needs one singer, and Jerrod is definitely the best. In fact, judge Howie Mandel deemed him "the best in this competition" Tuesday night, which is why it was even more surprising that he wasn't straight through to the finals.
Fortunately, during Wednesday night's live "instant save" voting, the judges saved World Taekwondo Demonstration Team, and America made up for the previous night of voting by saving Herrod.
A relieved Sofia Vergara, who had given her Golden Buzzer to Herrod this season, shared, "I'm going to throw up. I can't believe it. Why did I go through this tonight? I'm so glad. You deserve to be here. I don't know what happened to America."
